Brunch and Parade? Right?!?
Do you love a parade? Do you like the idea of parades and struggle to find joy when your toes are cold, you're surrounded by strangers, and you're not sure where to find a bathroom?
We have a proposal: Join us at our house the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We have a sensational view of the Collingswood Holiday Parade. We'll move the chiminea to the front yard and "reserve" a bunch of space in front of the house with folding chairs. You can warm up inside or watch the whole thing from the enclosed front porch (if you're not allergic to the cats). We'll bake some vegan treats. And we have a giant coffee urn and know how to use it. (Also, multiple bathrooms!)
Details:
- Saturday, November 25
- The parade starts at 10:00 a.m. See below for arrival time.
- Our address: 483 Haddon Ave, Collingswood, NJ, 08108.
- Beth's phone: (856) 524-1508
- Brett's phone: (856) 869-2625
As usual, there are rules:
- Arrive no earlier than 9:30 and leave after the parade ends.
- Bring anything you like or nothing at all. We have plenty of chairs.
- Bring anyone you like, including your children if you've got 'em. While our house isn't kid-friendly, the parade is.
- We hope you can join us and there's no need to tell us if you can't. No obligation, no guilt, no FOMO, no need to send or receive extra email. That's how we do things.
Whether we get to see you next weekend or not, we're grateful that you're in our lives. Happy Thanksgiving!
Beth and Brett
